Privacy Policy
Plain-language version first: the guestbook exists so Zack can remember you. Your data is never sold, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
Last updated: 19 July 2026. This policy is issued under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) by Nocturne Fox Services (SSM: 202503284619 (003786334-X)), referred to below as "Nocturne Fox", "I" or "me". Nocturne Fox is a one-person business run by Zack Choo.
What I collect
- Guestbook entries: your name or preferred name, WhatsApp number, occupation or company, where we met, and, if you choose to take one, a photo of you. Every field except the name is optional, and the photo is always optional.
- Cat chat messages: messages you type to the site's mascot, kept with your guestbook entry if you signed it.
- Technical basics: language preference (stored in your browser) and standard, aggregated usage analytics.
Why I collect it
- To remember who you are after we meet, which is the entire point of the guestbook.
- To follow up on conversations you started with me.
- To generate your AI reading, which is entertainment, not analysis or advice.
Where it lives
Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (database and private photo storage). Photos are never public and are visible only to me. AI readings are generated by sending your photo and answers to an AI model provider for processing; they are not used to train those models.
How long I keep it
Guestbook entries and photos are kept until you ask me to delete them. Send a deletion request any time via hello@nocturnefox.com or WhatsApp +60 17-959 7496 and I will remove your entry, photo included, within 7 days.
Your rights under the PDPA
- Access: ask what I hold about you.
- Correction: ask me to fix anything inaccurate.
- Withdrawal: withdraw consent and have your data deleted.
All requests go to hello@nocturnefox.com.
What I never do
- Sell or rent your personal data.
- Publish your photo anywhere.
- Send you marketing you did not ask for.
